Garden Route Adventures and Farming

We are a family with many skills and the patience to share our knowledge with others.

To us it is important to teach as many people as possible to become independent in life. We have learned that it is possible to give an old tree a new branch. Since we bought the farm, we have planted many fruit trees and a small vineyard. Due to the enlargement of the dam, different bird species have settled in the area.

The farm is situated

in the heart of the Little Karoo

Very close to the town Oudtshoorn, which is well known for their Ostrich breading and the Cango Caves. The Farm is along Route 62, the most famous Road in South Africa and Part of the well-known Garden Route with its breathtaking coastline, where most of the family excursions take place.

During your volunteering, you will have the privilege to see some of those beautiful places along the Garden Route where you will also get a chance to get in contact with the locals.

We are also part of a Non Profit Organization program (NPO) that helps our local children to learn new sports, get active with fun games and to play soccer for the NPO's team. As a Volunteer you are welcome to enjoy a day of fun if we have an upcoming event.

On the farm you will experience the general Lifestyle of a South African family, as well as, some diversified farming.
